Animal Kingdom

Theatre in the Wild closed January 22nd, the Tarzan Rocks show has now ended. Finding Nemo -- comes to life in an all-new musical stage show debuting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in late 2006 in the newly reconstructed Theatre in the Wild.

Magic Kingdom

Liberty Square Riverboat will not be sailing through summer 2006 due to an extensive rehab.

Pirates of the Caribbean -Closed for refurbishment beginning March 1, 2006 through April 7, reopening Saturday, April 8 through Sunday, April 30. The attraction will close for refurbishment May 1, through June 30, Saturday, July 1, 2006. The attraction will feature the addition of two of Hollywood’s most infamous buccaneers, Captain Jack Sparrow and his nemesis Captain Barbossa. Joining the wildest crew that ever sacked the Spanish Main, Captain Jack and Barbossa add an exciting new twist to the attraction’s original storyline as they race to be the first to claim a cache of plundered treasure. The rival swashbucklers will be seen interacting with some of the more familiar Audio-Animatronics buccaneers found inside the ride-thru adventure. Also making a guest appearance is the ghostly Davy Jones from the second movie in the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. But new characters are only the beginning. New special effects will also be added to enhance the “Pirates of the Caribbean” theme park experience.

The West End Stage and the Hub Stage at Pleasure Island will be under refurbishment beginning March 20 and continue into late 2006.

Orlando Harley-Davidson closed for refurbishment from March 19 - early June 2006. (Will relocate to the former home of Reel Finds and Changing Attitudes)

Caribbean Beach

Martinique pool close April 30 - May 6.
